D'Agen)<\/strong>\r\n\r\nEs una de las frutas m\u00e1s importantes que se cultivan en estos valles, en su mayor\u00eda con la variedad D\u2019agen. Crece en un ambiente privilegiado en Chile, considerado como una isla fitosanitaria de barreras naturales (desierto de Atacama, la Cordillera de Los Andes, el Oc\u00e9ano Pac\u00edfico y la Ant\u00e1rtica), que protegen la agricultura de pestes y enfermedades externas. La ciruela chilena destaca por su color, sabor y rico aporte de nutrientes, que adem\u00e1s de su buen aporte energ\u00e9tico, es alto en antioxidantes (m\u00e1s de 20 compuestos), vitaminas, minerales y fibras que benefician al cuerpo.
